Draft

This document is a plain-language draft pending legal review. It describes our intended practice, but it is not yet a final contractual text.

We collect as little as we can get away with, we do not sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time. The detail below explains exactly what that means.

What we collect

When you submit a form on this site we collect the name, email address, phone number, company and message you provide, along with the date and time. That is the whole set.

We record aggregate, anonymous analytics about page visits — which pages are read and roughly where visitors come from. This does not identify you and does not use advertising cookies.

The free health check tool sends a request to the domain you enter and analyses the public response. We do not store the domain or the report.

Why we collect it

Form data exists so a person can reply to you. It is passed to our own sales system and to whichever colleague is best placed to answer.

Analytics exist so we can tell which pages are useful and which are not. We do not build advertising profiles.

How long we keep it

Enquiry data is retained for twenty-four months so we can pick up a conversation you started last year. Client contract data is retained for as long as the agreement runs, plus the period required by law.

You can ask us to delete your data sooner, and we will, unless we are legally required to keep it.

Who else sees it

Our hosting and email providers process data on our behalf under contract. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data to anyone, for any purpose.

For client projects, we act as a processor on your behalf and handle your customers' data strictly according to your instructions and our agreement.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Write to hello@lara-it.com and we will respond within thirty days.

Cookies

This site sets one preference cookie to remember whether you chose the light or dark theme. It contains no identifier and is not shared. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
